Duties of Indian Exporters |
It is recommended that the Indian exporters, in order to make a smooth transition to REACH should take the following measures: - Examine the exemption list of REACH
- Understand the REACH regulation
- Identify “only representative"
- Create an inventory of all substances or substances in preparations or articles fulfilling REACH criteria you export to the EU.
- Identify for each substance on its own or in a formulated product the likely volume band per EU importer. If a chemical substance in these inventories is imported into the EU greater than or at 1 tonne/year, it needs to be pre-registered and registered by the EU importer or your Only Representative to ensure uninterrupted exports
- Prepare data and information for your EU importers or Only Representative
- Prepare for Pre-registration
- Take part in Substance Information Exchange Forum (SIEF)
- Know your Registration deadlines
- Calculate cost for REACH compliance
